Logo Explanation
This logo represents the core aims and objectives of the IPTA®. It is designed with peer analysis and with primary concern for the future of physical therapy profession in India.

In the left corner, there is an open book on a closed book, symbolizing open sharing of knowledge and improved academic and education system. This represents Academics.

In the right corner, the hand lens with the globe signifies the search for knowledge through scientific experiments and research which will alone facilitate advancement in the field. This represents Research.

In the top corner, the restoration of dependent patient to an independent individual is portrayed in the picture where the wheelchair bound person gets up and starts walking. This represents Clinical Practice.

The above three- academic, research and practice should be in line with the professional code of ethics. (the pyramid thus represents the symbol of stability defined by the code of ethics).

The two shaking hands in the center of the IPTA® pyramid exemplifies the “team work” in its true sense of the word, leading to everlasting radiation of positive energy and enthusiasm, collective growth and development in all directions.

The blue colour is for the water (80% of the earth, 80% of each and every cell of our body), the substance which personifies “flow” and non-stop progression even in presence of obstacles.
